We recently attended the Korean VR Hackathon which took place at the Busan Cultural Center February 9-11. Most of the 100 participants were local university students with an interest in emerging technologies and VR. The goal of the hackathon was to develop experiences that showcased the Korean city of Busan. A total of 12 projects were created and winners were selected for several categories. There was one overall grand prize winner selected. For many of the participants, this was their first experience working with and developing with VR. Perception Neuron was there to offer support to those participants who wanted to incorporate motion capture into their projects.
