Perception Neuron's Finger Capture Records a Pianist’s Performance

A test of our Perception Neuron was done by the Sawmill Studio to show how accurate our mocap is at finger capture. Finger capture has long been a challenge in motion capture world, because our finger joints are so close to each other. Accordingly, the sensors on finger joints are so tightly adjacent to one another that make it difficult to accurately track the movements. Especially when playing a musical instrument, the variety of movements across the piano keys makes finger capture a big challenge. With our mocap, the Sawmill Studio showed us a perfect classical performance A Digital Mozart: The Motion Capture Finger Reel.
